Spose Bambine

After the "Bianche", from "Bianche", the line of the "Spose Bambine". As a single backward path that investigates deep spaces, distant worlds, wounds. Timeless children, ageless, weightless, generated by the silent dialogue, intimate of the soul with itself. [...] Figures to be discovered, to be interrogated, wrapped in an indeterminacy that leaves a margin of restlessness, of disorientation, of mystery. "Spose Bambine" in the title a complaint. The strident, violent contrast between violated innocence and the imposed, preordained, foreign role. The frail body that preserves traces of childhood, hidden, crushed, dressed in heavy clothes, bulky. [...] The space around seems to tighten them, prevent breathing, escape. A blocked space. As for the "Bianche", here too they go to give body, color, thickness to the figures, fragments of cards lovingly collected, full of other stories, subtracted from oblivion. Model-cards or traces of architectural drawings, letters or fragments of annotations to which, in a second moment, the charcoal black is added. [...] Small, irreverent garments that impose more and more their presence, their challenging look that seeks ours, which let themselves go finally their child gestures. In a process of redemption that eventually frees them, undresses them, makes them exist for what they are, for what they want to be. [...]
